How difficult is installation?


Installation is easy and can generally be programmed and installed in under 5 minutes. Everything needed for the installation is included.


How much space on my handlebars do I need to mount CycleOpen?


CycleOpen is 1.6 inches wide.  You will need at least that amount of free space to mount CycleOpen on your motorcycle/ATV/Bike.


Can I open more than one garage door with CycleOpen?


Yes. CycleOpen is designed to operate up to 2 different garage door openers.


Can CycleOpen get wet?


Yes. CycleOpen is designed to IP65 standards. It is protected against the entry of dust and water from any direction.


How is CycleOpen powered?


CycleOpen is a stand alone unit powered by an included CR2032 battery. There is no splicing into your motorcycles factory wiring required.


How long will the battery last?


Battery longevity is going to depends on several conditions such as usage and the storage environment of motorcycle, however, users can expect one to three years out of CycleOpen’s battery.


How secure is CycleOpen?


CycleOpen is designed to be discrete. There are no markings identifying it as a garage door open and most people will not know what it is. Also, CycleOpen utilizes security screws to mount to your handlebar with the included security wrench to ensure that someone cannot easily remove your remote. 


What if my motorcycle is stolen?


In the event that your motorcycle is stolen, a receiver total erase should be done so your garage cannot be accessed. To do this, please refer to your garage door openers manufactures instructions.
